Maintaining ITC Infrastructure (Systems and Networks).Responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits. The IT officer role, located in Head Office, ensures the provision of superior member and inte
al customer service through the maintenance, enhancement and efficient operation of IT functions. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the security and integrity of computer operations and systems development in accordance with NOMAC’s strategic plan, IT plan and regulatory responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities 1Maintaining ITC Infrastructure (Systems and Network), identifying IT related problems, resolving them and keeping systems operational. 2Attending the user calls (Help Desk support), Communicating status, progress, and resolution and recovery of incidence. 3Installing and configure Computer systems and software. 4Updating of Anti-Virus for all Users and resolve virus related issues. 5To maintain the Hardware and Software Inventory for the plant. 6Follow up for PR, pending Delivery, part replacement etc. with conce
ed departments. 7To attend the tasks assigned by the management. 8Co-ordination with suppliers for warranty, repair/replacement of parts and pending work. 9Prepare weekly report, inventory report and send it to Supervisor. 10Ensure proper disposal of IT wastes (Cartridges, toners, batteries, electronic waste etc.) 11Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Educational DesiredDiploma or Degree in Computer/Electronics PreferredDegree in Computer/Electronics Engineering Minimum Experience Minimum5 years PreferableMore than 5 years Required Skills 1.Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles 2.Knowledge of applicable legal requirements 3.Hazard Risk assessment 4.Aspect Impact assessment 5.Team Player 6.Knowledge of IT waste handling and disposal 7.Interpersonal and communication skills 8.Planning, Organizing & Leadership 9.Proficient in IT Operations & Service Delivery Desired certification / Job specific skill / Training Certification in IT like MSCE, CCNA, etc. Work Condition Working in remote areas.
