Assist the team in conducting investment due diligence on potential opportunities across various asset classes and prepare and present investment recommendation/memos for approval Analyze financial statements, supporting documentation, and sell side research reports for potential investments and build an investment thesis given the portfolio’s risk and retu
objectives Assist in managing the investment portfolio deployment and rebalancing activities while liaising with back office operations for execution Prepare periodic performance reports on overall portfolio that include: performance attribution analysis on underlying asset classes and individual holdings Measuring the portfolio’s risk exposure and attribution Assessing adherence to portfolio asset allocation with the regulatory guidelines and the Investment Policy Statement Design, compile, and update macroeconomic data templates and opportunities watch lists, and monitor ongoing changes in economic indicators and any potential effect on the business and the investment portfolio Skills Strong financial modeling and power point presentation skills to support investment due diligence and recommendation Experience in managing investment portfolios and knowledge of different asset classes dynamics is preferred Strong analytical thinking capabilities and self-initiative to drive process and execution Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English Knowledge of sharia-compliant investment products is a plus CFA charterholder or candidacy is a plus
