Monitor implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) in the Safety department, and assist in the oversight of SMS implementation among Operational Divisions. Review related safety events and issues. Conducts risk management, trend analysis and recommends risk mitigation controls. Utilize FDM to proactively minimize likely future Accidents/Incidents. Attend Safety-related accidents, incidents and occurrences. Conduct investigations to determine causes to prevent reoccurrence. Prepare initial/final reports with the corrective actions and recommendations. Participate effectively in periodic/spot (flight and ground) inspection programs/line Operations Safety Audits as deemed necessary. Develop, implement, manage and monitor all aspects of the corporate Emergency Response Plan. Ensure establishment of necessary local/stations emergency response plans taking in consideration local requirements and capabilities of each location and airport. Plan, implement and manage drills for the corporate emergency plan and flyadeal stations on periodical basis in coordination with conce

ment and health agencies for preparing necessary emergency response plans to ensure caring for Next of Kin and families after accidents. Manage, operate and develop emergency response centres to ensure availability and validity of all emergency response requirements at the different locations and stations. · Directs an active Safety Reporting System across the airline and ensures establishment of two-way communication with the reporters and their respective Operational Divisions as deemed appropriate. Directs an active Safety Communication means across the airline such as Safety Newsletter, Website, Bulletins, Workshops, etc. to propagate safety information and to enhance safety awareness across the airline. Required Skills • An ATPL licensed Pilot preferably an Airline Pilot; • Certificate in Aircraft Accident/Incident Investigation
