Business analyst responsibilities include collecting data and develop analysis and reporting capabilities, arrange various reports update Presentations for various meetings with these information, work closely with the Insurance Broker against the claims, and negotiate strongly during the time of renewing the insurance policies. Furthermore, Data Analyst should monitor the performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in the Supply Chain / CSD Department. Key Accountabilities · Create a comprehensive Secured Volume, Revenue, and Backlog reports on weekly and monthly basis by gathering information of different LOBs along with margins. · Keeps on updating the report on weekly basis and submits to supply chain director & CSD Manager. · Gather, Prepare & Maintain Power Point Presentations for KPIs, OPS reviews and any other management meetings that are required by Supply Chain Director or CSD Manager. · Produce and participate in weekly and monthly meetings with SCM director and CSD manager for reviewing MTD and YTD sales of all LOBs against Forecast/Outlook. · Help executing the Supply Chain function of warehouse management by providing analysis on inventory volume against aging and projects backlog. · Gathers, prepares, and provides backlog reports of all LOBs to the Finance along with the Secured Volume information at every month closing. · Handle all insurances related to but not limited to, Marine, Land, and Air transit insurances and claims settlement related to them for the organization. · Negotiates terms and premiums and fetch optimum rates from the brokers for all insurance policies except those belong to facilities department. · Provides help to vendor master administrator with consultation and recognizing the vendor category during the registration of vendors in vendor master file. · Provide help in preparation and analyzing the costing sheets for projects related to UPG. · Assists supply chain director & CSD Manager in executing and day to day follow up chores of the supply chain department. · Clear Communication Skill and understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the Company, Suppliers and Customers. · Do the insurance coverage for all the foreign orders. Immediate notification on damaged shipments. Arrange joint survey, process the claim with all supporting documents and follow-up with insurance for getting the claimed amounts. · Proper Time Management, Judgment and Decision Making. · Perform day-to-day administrative tasks. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, etc. - Previous experience in a similar environment (3 - 5 years) - Must be able to work unsupervised - Bachelor degree in SCM or BA
