Role Purpose To oversee project activities and monitor adherence to project objectives and goals in order to ensure effective utilization of time, budget and resources allocated to the project within the set KPIs, agreed budgets, adopted policies and procedures. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES Operational •Manage the day-to-day activities of PMO and review requests for new projects to be added under the PMO mandate using PDD and PID to advice on their alignment with SANS strategic objectives •Maintain and update SANS integrated transformation plan and consolidated program status reports•Develop project benefits realization dashboards and periodically monitor the progress in the measure of realized benefits •Provide approval of PMO projects deliverables, schedules and change requests to ensure compliance with contractual obligations Safety & Resolution •Participate in program issues / risks identification and resolution and recommend impact on projects schedules•Facilitate the resolution of change requests, raised risks & issues, projects’ interdependencies and projects completion activities Policies, Processes and Procedures •Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures •Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
