The Brilliant Factory MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Systems Consultant will lead the definition, development, and implementation of a Brilliant Factory MES solution for the inte
al consultant. This includes total responsibility for the implementation project and will require partnering with GE digital solutions team to create a high impact solution that accelerates lea
ing and drives factory productivity.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· This MES project is a key component of a much larger program to design, construct, install, and deploy factory information systems solutions including ERP, MES, and SCADA.
· As an MES / Scada will in the MES project for the inte
al and exte
al clients which will require you to produce process analysis, business requirements definition, process redesign, solution documentation, data conversion, change management, project management, systems integration, and user community training required for the MES.
· Identify and close gaps between desired standard business processes and existing, site-specific processes.
· Influence cross-functional stakeholders to integrate business processes, standardize across fulfilment sites, and drive fast decision making to enable an accelerated SCADA implementation schedule.
· Provide regular updates to the business leadership team on project progress and escalate as necessary to remove issues.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

· Bachelor in Computer Science or MSc CS
· The right candidate is educated to degree level or ideally has 5 years’ experience in an Enterprise Information Technology role.
· Proficy Plant Applications / Brilliant Manufacturing, Simatic IT
· Expertise in Integrating MES with ERP (SAP) and with the Control Systems.
· Expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Intelligence
· Understanding of Manufacturing Production Processes (Discrete /Process / Hybrid Manufacturing).
· Business process knowledge on the ERP, MES, Control systems, Quality, Warehouse and Maintenance areas.
· The candidate should have a proven track record in engineering MES solutions and rolling out the solution for multi-national companies.
· The candidate should be an excellent communicator and be able to present ideas clearly and effectively both inte
ally and exte
ally.
