info الوصف الوظيفي

To lead the logistics team based in Riyadh with direct accountability on the logistics function. The main objective of the role is to balance both OTIF (Customer Service), warehousing/transportation cost along with inventory optimization … and to contribute effectively in achieving the company’s strategic KPIs guided by the company’s strategy framework.



Job Responsibilities



1. Planning:

Accountable for warehouse space planning

Owning the inventory record accuracy (IRA) for both FP and raw materials

Co-ordinates and contributes in Capacity planning related to WH with planning and project teams



2. Logistics:

Accountable for the Inventory Management and accuracy.

Accountable for W/H asset management.

Accountable for all Physical loading and unloading activities.

Accountable for shipping documents preparation and timely delivery.

Shared responsibility on freight budget (fully accountable for inbound freight spend).

Ensuring the CBOB’s SHE policies are strictly applied within W/H.

Manage daily transportation operations.

Manage and own the business relationship with the 3PL including periodical review of the business model.

Manage insurance claims related to transportation, freight, 3PL and warehousing losses.



3. Procurement:

Accountable for the department agreed budget.

Accountable for establishing and maintaining a detailed vendor’s database.

Accountable for setting up and managing vendor’s evaluation system.

Establishing market understanding and knowledge to be used by Logistics team and other CBOB functions in taking logistics decisions.

Owning the relation with all LSPs.



4. Team Management & Development:

Ensure Logistics team is fully understanding and compliant with all CBOB policies and guidelines.

Establish solid bench for critical positions within Logistics.
Ensure that training requirements are identified and fulfilled to ensure professional logistics management.


Required work experience and skills

3-5 Years in experience in managerial level (Preferably FMCG or Packaging Industry).

Covered at least 2 of 4 functions of SCM (logistics is mandatory).

Proven record of achievements on various SCM activities, ability to quantify the impact of the achievements on the overall organization performance. This should be clearly reflected through full understanding of the basic business principles and how can Logistics impact the overall financial performance of SCM.



Required educational qualifications

Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering Degree.
