الوصف الوظيفي
The job holder is responsible for managing infrastructure service management activities including maintaining CyTech’s community infrastructure, facilitating client migration to CyTech’s infrastructure, working with third-party providers on deployment, and providing periodic backups and disaster recovery services.
Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities
Develop the performance objectives of the Department in collaboration with the Directorate, and continuously monitor progress towards Directorate strategic objectives and develop periodic performance reports to present evaluation results and recommend improvements
Core Responsibilities
Manage functional and performance tests on current infrastructure for identifying issues
Manage infrastructure configuration to ensure upgrades and required system changes
Ensure the development and utilization of task automation and reporting tools
Provide Level 2 client technical support and address any issues/problems as per set SLAs, escalate any roadblock beyond team’s control to third party providers
Provide infrastructure operations services, disaster recovery, scanning and archiving, data repository, and remote operations services develop and oversee network operations, service desk, event management, incident management, problem management, configuration management and change management processes for all cloud services
Ensure successful backup and/or replication of customer data in a secure manner
Contribute and enhance cloud security infrastructure for monitoring purposes
Coordinate cross-functionally to accomplish assigned tasks
People Management Responsibilities
Carry-out the day-to-day operations of the Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high-performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees
Manage performance of the Department, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees to maximize performance
Skills
Skills and Experience:
Prior managerial experience in infrastructure service management, in particular, infrastructure operations
Previous executive experience, including the ability to hold middle-management level discussions, and exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
Prior experience within the KSA and the Middle East region retaining strong technical skills in the related discipline
Advanced proficiency in infrastructure service management
Intermediate proficiency in problem-solving
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer Engineering or related technical discipline
