To The Data Operations head role will have the exciting opportunity to lead the delivery, development & operational maintenance of a banks data repositories/stores for the entire enterprise including maintaining existing platforms and associated work streams. The include, but not limited to Data Marts, Data warehouses, Data Lakes & Reservoirs on Big-Data Platforms, Master & Operational Data Hubs. As head of data operation he will ensure that these data repositories is architected & organized to serve as a logically single source of true, non-volatile, time-variant, accurate and consistent reference point for all customer information and analytical tools. Further he needs to ensure that this data is made available in agreed time-frames and displayed in a variety of tools, dashboards and reports that drive the banks business.\r\n\r\nThis role will also be responsible for executing on the data strategy that defines how the bank builds an analytics eco-system. The person will also help refine a pragmatic roadmap for the banks enterprise Data & Analytics architecture, while ensuring the operational efficiency of existing data & technology assets (e.g. Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop etc.).\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Accountabilities & Detailed Tasks :\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDevelop and implement a sustainable data/information management strategy and associated processes, which contribute to delivering the Bank’s BICC strategy and priorities\r\nProvide up to date specialist information management input across the Bank including:\r\nTaking the lead, with the support of the BICC Head and relevant Steering Committees, in championing information management including advising on the progress, management of risks and controls in relation to information management.\r\nChampioning and leading on better ways of working through the use of data technology.\r\nRepresent BICC in data forums and core systems replacement initiatives.\r\nAdvising and guiding on adoption of Data Protection technologies.\r\nEnsure the function is business & inte
al customer focused and responds to business feedback, while working closely with relevant managers and staff. \r\nTo Lead a high-performing team of data specialists who can design, build and operate all aspects of data/information management solutions and projects\r\nInterface with business support, data-architect, data stewards, data-engineers, and analytics-experts to satisfy day-to-day data needs, and also to align with overall enterprise information strategy direction.\r\nDefine and manage SLAs for all data and reporting jobs.\r\nWork with IT Systems teams to pre-empt upstream change impacts and manage issues and drive to resolution\r\nSkills\r\nMinimum Qualifications:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBachelor Degree in Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMinimum Experience:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOverall 10 to 12 years on industry, experience with at least 7 to 10 years’ experience in senior information management role with a demonstrable track record of managing data and business-intelligence solutions \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\nJob-Specific Skills: \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nExperience in Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau and other new technologies .\r\nSound knowledge of Data structures and reporting needs of Financial and ERP systems within a Bank\r\nIn-depth knowledge of current information management practice with an awareness of emerging strategies and technologies \r\nPractitioner’s knowledge of Data warehouse & Big-Data architectures, Banking Data-Models, Data Ingestion practices, Operational and Master Data management\r\nUnderstanding of the Data Operations challenges and complexities for a large geographically distributed organization \r\nProficient in Data Quality and Data gove
