The job holder of this position is responsible for overseeing all employee-related activities including job offers, wa
ings issuance, personnel documentation, etc. while ensuring their alignment to the division’s policies and procedures.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n1. Strategic:\r\n\r\n✓ Develop the business plan of the HR Department in line with the Division objectives and strategic objectives of Chalhoub\r\n\r\n✓ Formulate and communicate the HR Department performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards strategic objectives\r\n\r\n2. Managerial:\r\n\r\n✓ Assist in the development of department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements\r\n\r\n✓ Oversee the operations of the department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and staff pride in contribution\r\n\r\n✓ Monitor the yearly budget of the department and control expenditure to ensure optimal use\r\n\r\n3. Operational:\r\n\r\n✓ Develop, implement and coordinate policies and programs covering:\r\n\r\nc. Benefit and entitlements administration\r\n\r\nd. Insurance and health benefits\r\n\r\ne. Employee services\r\n\r\nf. Immigration relations\r\n\r\n✓ Administer benefits programs such as life, health insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance\r\n\r\n✓ Finalize and follow-up on offer letters and salary certificates with GMs and management\r\n\r\n✓ Manage and control leaves and absences for all staff and submit data for payroll\r\n\r\n✓ Review the data entry of employees’ confidential and financial records on HRMS (promotions, raises, performance appraisals...)\r\n\r\n✓ Supervise staff tu
over reports generation (New Comers, Leavers and total headcount), KPI report of services and inte
al memos provided\r\n\r\n✓ Ensure exit interviews of resigned staff are being conducted\r\n\r\n✓ Facilitate and support change efforts and champion employees’ needs\r\n\r\n✓ Ensure new employee induction is properly implemented\r\n\r\n✓ Oversee and approve on employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to disclose reasons behind separations\r\n\r\n✓ Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee related issues\r\n\r\n✓ Ensure timely response to employees’ queries\r\n\r\n✓ Conduct investigations as needed to resolve employee relations and legal issues and advise management on appropriate resolution\r\n\r\n✓ Provide counseling to employees on all work-related issues\r\n\r\n✓ Prepare employee wa
