[LEFT] Job Description - Specialist Engineer, Reliability (1500002F) Job Description Specialist Engineer, Reliability(Job Number: 1500002F) Description Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare cost effective designs, processes and related data for engineering problems to ensure that work is completed as per deadline, engineering standards and PRC procedures. Analyze engineering problems, with respect to scope, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations in order to support the development and formulate the basis for engineering studies in the field of rotating equipment including Reliability Centered Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance. Recommend modifications in order to improve existing facilities and standardization, enhance safety and operability. Review and consolidate reports on engineering studies, root cause analyses and investigation reports in order to support plant troubleshooting exercises and Management decision-making. Provide coaching to lower other level engineers and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer and sharing of skills and work performance as per standards. Assume full responsibility for development and implementation of “RCM and PM “programs associated with rotating equipment, including monitoring, assessment and feedback of their effectiveness Qualifications Qualification & Experience: Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from reputable universities. Demonstrated specialty and expertise and records on related work. Minimum of 15 years of experience in Polymer industry in the fields of Rotating Equipment. Hands on experience in design review and troubleshooting of rotating equipment. Knowledge of inte
ational code and standards such as API. Problem solving and decision making ability. Familiar with RCM & PM concept. Capable to guide and train engineers. Preferable RCM Certification/RCS Certification Excellent verbal and written Communication skills in English. Results Oriented & Conceptualization skills to provide cost effective engineering solutions Capable to lead and/or support a multi-disciplinary team in investigations or engineering studies.
