[LEFT]Job Title Cost Engineer Business Line Downstream AOC Job Category Engineering Position Description The Cost Estimation Group is responsible for providing Cap-Ex for economic evaluations and for project submittal. The Cost Estimation will cover all process units, utilities as well as other facilities required for the capital program. This will cover:  Stationary Equipment  Rotating Equipment  Electrical  Instrumentation  IT  Civil Minimum Requirements The successful candidate shall have the following qualifications: - BS degree in Engineering; Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or BS in Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or closely related major. - Minimum of nine (9) years of estimating experience in mega projects including a minimum of five (5) years in design, construction or operation of oil and gas, refining or petrochemical facilities. - While working for or in an operating facility for at least five years especially on revamp/debottlenecks or shutdown/tu
around is plus. - Field experience and general knowledge of engineering and construction requirements is required. - Working knowledge/experience with computer-estimating programs, such as Aspentech ACCE, Timberline etc. and must be familiar with estimate databases such as Means, Richardson and others. - Must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), e.g. SAP - Able to be a lead planner for 0MM and below projects. - Project Management Professional (PMP), AACE-CCP or AACE-CEP certification is preferred. - Must be willing to travel kingdom-wide and commute to job locations in areas other than residence due to business function domain. Duties & Responsibilities The Cost Estimation Group main duties are: • Review the technical proposal and provide “Order-of-Magnitude” cost estimate for Pre-feasibility Studies • Provide Preliminary “Budget cost estimate” for downstream feasibility studies & economic evaluations • Provide cost estimate for major plant additions/modifications • Liaise with Equipment Manufacturers and Vendors to get accurate cost estimate • Identify & implement opportunities for cost reduction • Keep aware of developments in the downstream market • Keep aware of the material & logistic system • Develop database of suppliers and update the list • Develop database for cost estimate as well as keep the list updated • Develop tools for cost estimate About Us Saudi Arabia’s vast hydrocarbon resources will see Saudi Aramco become the world’s leading integrated energy and chemical company by 2020.
