[LEFT]Senior Civil Engineer Facility Management Division Business Unit: Corporate Services Complex Function: Systems Development and Maintenance Division Senior Civil Engineer (Facility Management): To lead development and implementation, from technical perspective, of the overall renovation, and maintenance. In addition to the related planning design and organization of technical activities to ensure timely, safe execution and ongoing success for the delivery of renovation/ maintenance projects at different IDB Group locations. Person Play a leadership and advisory role to clients and colleagues in handling complex Civil/Architect Engineering tasks & issues in IDB HQ Buildings, Regional Offices and Gateway Offices. Participate in the development of annual work program, KPIs, budget and business planning of the Division. Oversee the execution of the engineering work programs and targets. Technically lead activities related to structural and architectural design for different facilities projects as per IDB Group requirements using codes and standards and provide technical inputs during the design phase, as and when required. Prepare, check and approve engineering deliverables for the identified project. Ensure that project is implemented on time and within estimated cost. Pursue and exploit cost reduction opportunities, wherever appropriate. Ensure close monitoring and provide direction for the targeted projects –with focus on resolving technical issues related to those defined as problem to ensure overall quality and assess the achievement of objectives. Ensure proper space management in liaison with the conce
ed departments. Oversee the bidding process for renovation / maintenance related tenders and ensure selection of qualified contractors. Develop RFPs and estimate initial costs. Evaluate technical bids submitted by contractors for renovation / maintenance projects and ensure timely provision of necessary technical clarifications. Participate/Coordinate the activities related to Bids Evaluation Committee of the Corporate Services Complex, or an equivalent setup, for compliance and oversight. Technically manage contractors working on different renovation, and maintenance project at diverse locations of IDB Group. Lead and ensure all specialist engineering support and effective coordination with Engineering technical Teams and other IDB disciplines for construction / maintenance projects and advise on meeting the required safety and environmental standards Organize, plan and participate in technical multi-disciplinary reviews of the project and progress meetings with contractor, as and when required. Design and deploy IDB Group’s facility management policies and framework to ensure all time availability of inte
ational standards for facilities at diverse locations. Ensure conformance / compliance of construction, renovation and maintenance related activities as per the regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of latest technical developments in constructions, renovation, and facilities maintenance. Provide guidance and share knowledge with less experienced team members. Periodically evaluate supplier/contractor performance quality and recommend necessary strategies to improve it. Lead analysis for reports, technical drawings, blueprints, photography to plan construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. Oversee preparation of project reports with engineering details on costs, timelines, and resource requirements. Prepare periodic reports on performance of building and maintenance operations. Review and provide technical evaluation on teams/vendors/contractor proposals and reports Experience: 12 years of experiance after Bachelor’s Degree OR 9 Years of experiance after Master degree OR 7 years of experiance after PhD 11 years relevant experience Design and implementation of HVAC & BMS/BAS experience Previous experience as resident Engineer Consultant design experience Project management experience from the contractor end HVAC and mechanical engineering experience (design & instulation) Knowledge and understanding of the regional municipal regulations Qualifications: Civil Engineering / Project Management / Any related discipline Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certificate Vast knowledge of principles, practices, methods and techniques of procurement, contracting, and contract administration Vast knowledge of legal terminology Knowledge in computer software such as AutoCAD and M.S.
