ational Accreditation (JCIA), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAAUH) policies and safety standards, and ensure the established departmental policies and procedures are in compliance with all mentioned accreditation bodies. Reassess staffing levels, and alter their roles to achieve their maximum potential, coaching to achieve productivity standards. Maintain professional knowledge by attending Management/Leadership workshops. Drive the division forward, leading by example. Understand Budget Control, forecasting requirements, for maximum operational efficiency. Evaluate all instruments/assays requirements for New Laboratories. Supervises and trains staff / students in the performance of laboratory functions - both administrative and technical operating procedures. Develops and directs the statistical and record keeping software functions of the laboratory Stays abreast of new tests, new procedures, and new technology in the Medical Technology field.
