To drive the technological development of the red areas through his extensive knowledge of the Bayer process and application of best practices, ensuring the best and most applicable technology is employed in the refinery technical and upgrade plans.

Be fully aware of the opportunities presented to the refinery through technological advances and the applicability and implications for red side refinery operation.

Provide initiative and drive in the improvement of process safety and environmental performance and standards by ensuring these are given full consideration in all design, planning and investigative phases of his work.

Provide training and mentor engineers in their area roles.

Participate in the development of junior engineers through contact with them in their daily activities and encouraging their involvement in project work or investigations.
Experience & Qualifications



Years of Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience

Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree – Engineer (Masters Preferable)
English Level: Excellent

Technical Qualification: Previous leadership position in engineering, Process control

Others: Leadership, communication skills, goal setting.
