Responsible for the\r\n24 hour\r\nmanagement, administrative functions and monitoring of practice to ensure effective and efficient operation of the assigned area according to program policy and procedures.\r\n \r\n\r\nDemonstrates effective leadership and management skills in ensuring the delivery of patent and family centered care.\r\n \r\n\r\n2Supports the professional and personal development of all nursing staff and works as an effective member of the caring team.\r\n \r\n\r\nAssesses, plans, implements, evaluates and monitors standards of care.\r\n \r\n\r\nActs on behalf of or in the absence of the Clinical Director.\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe employee will:\r\n \r\n\r\n Uphold philosophy, mission, vision, goals and objectives of the Nursing Department and PSMMC.\r\n \r\n\r\nUtilize efficient management of human and material resources within the assigned area:\r\n \r\n\r\nUse and storage of all equipment and supplies.\r\n \r\n\r\nPeriodic Preventive Maintenance.\r\n \r\n\r\nStaff rotation, schedules and leave\r\nallocation.\r\n \r\n\r\nFollow-up of staffs’ valid requirements for re-contracting to help in speed up with lacking steps.\r\n \r\n\r\nEnsure that standard of care, policies and procedures are effectively and safely practiced.\r\n \r\n\r\nAdeptly manages the information of patient, staff and hospital records.\r\n \r\n\r\nActively participate in the recruitment, selection, promotion and retention of staff.\r\n \r\n\r\nSupport Saudization Nursing Development Program (SNDP).\r\n \r\n\r\nParticipate in the development, revision and implementation of unit based competencies in the assigned area.\r\n \r\n\r\nRaise the moral of the nursing team by:\r\n \r\n\r\nRecognizing and valuing contributions from the individual within the ward and provides clinical support.\r\n \r\n\r\nParticipate in direct patient care working as a team member and promotes highest standards of evidence-based practice.\r\n \r\n\r\nEnsure patients and staff confidentiality.\r\n \r\n\r\nActively participates in Nursing and PSMMC-wide committees.\r\n \r\n\r\nObserve and respect patients’ Bill of Rights and responsibilities.\r\n \r\n\r\nMaintain effective line of communication within the department and all members of the multi-disciplinary team.\r\n \r\n\r\nEstablish partnership, facilitating team building and works collaboratively with other health team member.\r\n \r\n\r\nConduct regular departmental meetings. \r\n \r\n\r\nBe responsible for updating requirements and documents as required periodically such as expiration of Saudi Council card.\r\n \r\n\r\nUtilize conflict management strategies to address issues and conce
