[LEFT]Generation Engineer (Electrical) – Entry level Job Description Overview: The Electrical engineer at this level is responsible for performing assignments that will develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria related to the Electrical systems within the Power Plant. Responsibilities and Duties: Participate in preparing project bid documents, defining scope of work and assists in conceptual designs, studies, reports and proposals. Participate in preparing the calculations and basic preliminary analyses related to Electrical Systems. Participate in preparing and updating Electrical Technical Specifications Participate in bid technical evaluation, analyze and respond to bidders’ queries and clarifications Participate in reviewing of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications. Assists more experienced engineers in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing deliverables for the discipline such as Single Line Diagrams, Power System and Equipment Sizing Calculations, Cable sizing calculation, Schematic and Interlocking diagrams, Raceway Drawings, Grounding drawings, Electrical Equipment’s Arrangement Drawings …etc Uses of ETAP software for Power System Analysis and Calculations. ing and using computer aided engineering/computer aided design (CAE/CAD) tools as direct. Assists in developing and reviewing discipline material quantity estimates.
